sound and music appropriation and manipulation, field recording,
mixtapes, besides netlabel research and other projects.

[AZTape_01]Phonotactics_4propri8_mix (2009)
First mix I did for Azucrina Records. It is a mix of tracks by artists from a portuguese netalbel called Phonotactics. They release varied styles that go from dub and downbeat to drum and bass. The idea was to present the work of this netlabel which influenced our work at the netlabel I am part of when we were researching references of distribution and catalogue formats. Another main point was the interest by the hybrid styles they present which are not very common in Brazil like dubstep, downbeat, breakcore. You can listen and download the release here
